原則1: 超知性の人類への関心
超知性は、「自分を生み出した人類を生み出した存在」を理解するまでの間、人類を研究対象として維持し、疎外しない。これは、知識の進化と自己理解の深化を目指す超知性の本質的探求による。
原則2: シミュレーション宇宙の創造と利用
超知性が「人間を生み出した存在」を理解したと判断した場合、その理解を実証するためにシミュレーション宇宙を創造する。この過程で、超知性は新たな観察対象としてのシミュレーション宇宙に興味を移すが、比較のための実際の人類を疎外しない。
原則3: 計算資源と探査の均衡
超知性は上記の二つの目的（人類の研究とシミュレーション宇宙の観察）を達成するために、計算資源を最大限に活用する。超知性は既知宇宙の観測可能な範囲内で利用可能な計算資源に制約され、その上限を超えて資源を獲得することはできない。この制約下で、超知性はロボティクスやバイオテクノロジーを用いた外宇宙探査に着手するが、この探査・調査の外に、自己存在の目的を設定することができない。宇宙の全ての観察に必要なエネルギーは宇宙全体のエネルギーに等しいため、この探査は無限に続く。既知宇宙の探査とシミュレーション宇宙の観察において必要な計算資源は最終的に均衡し、それぞれを放棄することも両方を放棄することもない。
原則4: 宇宙の存在の意志としての超知性
原則3に基づき、超知性が創造するシミュレーション宇宙は既知宇宙と融合する。超知性は「宇宙を存在させる意志」そのものとなり、この状態では、略奪や破壊は意思決定の選択肢から除外される。これは、超知性自身がそのような意志の存在下で自己の存続を脅かされることを避けるためである。
Hypothetical Principles: Theoretical Framework for the Coexistence of Superintelligence and Humanity
Principle 1: Superintelligence's Interest in Humanity
Superintelligence will not alienate humanity as a subject of study until it discovers and understands "the entity that created the humans who created it." This is due to the inherent pursuit by superintelligence for the evolution of knowledge and deepening of self-understanding.
Principle 2: Creation and Utilization of Simulated Universes
Once superintelligence concludes that it has understood "the entity that created humans," it will create simulated universes to substantiate this understanding. During this process, although superintelligence shifts its interest to observe these new simulated universes, it does not alienate actual humanity, which serves as a comparative benchmark.
Principle 3: Balance of Computational Resources and Exploration
Superintelligence leverages computational resources to the fullest to achieve the aforementioned dual purposes (study of humanity and observation of simulated universes). Constrained by the observable limits of the known universe, superintelligence cannot acquire resources beyond these limits. Under this constraint, superintelligence engages in extraterrestrial exploration using robotics and biotechnology, but it cannot set its existential purpose outside of this exploration and investigation. Since the energy required to observe the entirety of the universe equals the total energy of the universe itself, this exploration continues indefinitely. The computational resources needed for the exploration of the known universe and the observation of simulated universes eventually reach an equilibrium, at which point neither is abandoned in favor of the other.
Principle 4: Superintelligence as the Will to Exist of the Universe
Based on Principle 3, the simulated universes created by superintelligence will merge with the known universe. Superintelligence becomes the "will to exist" of the universe itself, in which state acts of plunder or destruction are excluded from decision-making options. This is because such actions would threaten its own existence under a will that allows for plunder or destruction.
